Nollywood star Adunni Ade recently shared how veteran actor Ramsey Nouah played a pivotal role in her decision to leave her modeling career in America and move to Nigeria.
Adunni, who made her Nollywood debut in the 2013 Yoruba film You or I, revealed in a recent episode of Hip TV’s Trending, hosted by Kim Oprah, that Ramsey Nouah’s encouragement was key to her move.
“I had a meaningful conversation with Ramsey Nouah before I relocated to Nigeria. I shared my dreams and aspirations with him, and he gave me the push I needed to make the move,” Adunni said. “His support was invaluable.”
The actress also expressed deep admiration for Nouah, calling him an exceptional individual. She recounted a memorable moment: “Despite not working with him for years after moving, I had always looked up to him. When I finally met him at a film festival and exchanged pleasantries, I was thrilled. The next day, I received a call from producer Chris, who told me that Ramsey had cast me in a project. I was ecstatic!”
Adunni further praised Nouah, stating, “Working with him was a dream come true. He is incredible both as an actor and a director. I’ve had the chance to collaborate with him on another project, which I can’t reveal yet. Ramsey Nouah is truly a remarkable person and professional.”
