Britney Spears was spotted with an unidentified man in Puerto Rico on Saturday, just days after she was photographed without her wedding ring.
However, a source exclusively tells Page Six that the man is a member of the pop star’s “security personnel.”
Spears, 41, was photographed at a Starbucks in the beachside town of Dorado, wearing a black off-the-shoulder romper, according to images obtained exclusively by Page Six.
She appeared to be perusing the menu alongside the individual and, at one point, could be seen sipping from her tumbler cup while looking up at him.
According to an eyewitness, the man, who was dressed in a striped T-shirt, khaki pants, and a black cap, was overheard speaking in Spanish.
“[He] ordered, and [they]left in the same car,” the source continues.
Spears’ publicist did not immediately respond to a request for comment, and her husband Sam Asghari’s publicist declined to comment.
However, we learned earlier this week that the couple is having no trouble in paradise.
Despite ditching their wedding bands earlier this week, Asghari’s rep, Brandon Cohen of BAC Talent, told us on Friday that the “Family Business” actor and “Toxic” singer are not having marital problems.
Spears, 41, was photographed without her wedding ring at LAX airport on Tuesday, ahead of a trip with her pal and manager, Cade Hudson.
Asghari, 29, was photographed two days later walking away from a car valet in Los Angeles without the symbolic piece of jewelry.
The representative for the former fitness trainer told us exclusively that his client had just removed the ring because he was filming a movie at the time. Asghari, we were told, did not join his wife on vacation because he was too busy working.
On Thursday, Asghari also shared a photo of himself from a plane on Instagram Stories, with his wedding band clearly visible.
Spears’ representatives have not stated why she chose to remove her ring. In a video of her dancing with Hudson on Friday, she was once again seen without her giant rock.
Spears and Asghari have only been married for a little over a year. In June 2022, they will marry in a star-studded ceremony at the Grammy winner’s mansion in California.
Since then, Asghari has repeatedly denied “controlling” the singer’s life.
In December 2022, he joked, “No, I don’t even control what we have for dinner.”
“You know, there has been a lot going on in the past, so I understand where [fans]are coming from.”
In February, the couple appeared to be in good spirits when the “Black Monday” actor shared a never-before-seen photo from their wedding day with the sweet caption, “Happy Valentine’s Day to my valentine.”
One month later, Spears paid her beau a birthday tribute on Instagram, captioning a series of PDA-filled photos of her and Asghari, “I love you so much and hope you get all your birthday wishes and more!!!
Spears’ third husband is Asghari. In January 2004, she married her childhood friend Jason Alexander for an infamous 55 hours. From 2004 to 2007, she was married to Kevin Federline, with whom she has two sons, Jayden and Sean.
