The Senegalese star would not be included in Saturday’s Bundesliga clash with Hoffenheim
Bayern Munich fined and suspended Sadio Mane on Thursday for punching teammate Leroy Sane in the face after a Champions League loss to Manchester City earlier this week.
“Sadio Mane, 31, will not be included in the FC Bayern squad for this Saturday’s home match against 1899 Hoffenheim,” Bayern Munich announced in a statement. “This is due to his behavior following Bayern’s Champions League match against Manchester City.” Mane will be fined as well.”

After his team’s 3-0 loss to Manchester City in the first leg of their Champions League quarterfinal at the Etihad Stadium on Tuesday, the Senegalese player punched his teammate in the dressing room.
Mane joined Bayern Munich from Liverpool last year.
On April 1, Bayern will face City again in the second leg.
