Coi Leray admits she may have overreacted to a perceived slight from Latto.
Latto released her new single “Put It On Da Floor” on Friday, in which she references Coi Leray by comparing her body to a blunt.
“Smokin’ on that gas, blunt as big as Coi Leray / Bitches like to run their mouths, but I’m the type to fade,” Latto raps.
Coi, on the other hand, took the lyrics as a diss and thought Latto was trying to body shame her. She responded to the “Big Energy” rapper with a series of tweets.
“Let’s fight,” she said before addressing Latto specifically. “Latto bye. Now you’re talking about my body.” Please don’t come on here and talk about anyone. Seriously, laugh. Among all things. Lmaooo you’re blunt about my size? This shit is never going to end.

Coi, on second thought, admits that she may have overreacted to Latto’s name drop. “Maybe I overreacted idk,” she wrote on Twitter on Friday.
However, this does not imply that they are friends. She then warned Latto not to bring up her name again. “It’s the end of the day. Don’t mention my name for the sake of clicks and likes. “This is especially true if we don’t speak or communicate,” she explained. “I’m not a big blunt, but I’m a small blunt.” Don’t compare me to nothing. Mention any babes with whom you have a beef. Put it on the floor, but keep me out of the nonsense.”
“There’s a lot going on behind the scenes,” she continued. You guys don’t know half of what’s going on in this shit. The main goal, however, is ICON SHIT. If it does not make me wealthy or a better person. Keep your distance.”
Latto has yet to respond to Coi’s remarks. “Put It On Da Floor,” which she debuted at Coachella, has also sparked controversy due to its anti-Nicki Minaj lyrics.
There’s a lot that goes on behind the scenes. y’all don’t be knowing the half of the shit that goes on in this shit. But the main goal is ICON SHIT . If it don’t make me rich or better person. Stay away.
