According to her sources, Megyn Kelly revealed that while there has not yet been a termination, they will reach an agreement to pay him out.

“Tucker was not fired from Fox,” Megyn Kelly stated. Because he is still under contract, he cannot launch a podcast or digital show or negotiate with other employers. They took his show off the air, fired his executive producer Justin Wells, and refused to tell him why.
They refuse to tell him why, which is so disappointing because he’d been with the company for years, worked in Prime Time for seven years, and saw Fox News through some of its most difficult times.

The main issue here is that everything has been kept extremely private since Tucker Carlson’s dismissal. Nobody will tell any news organization what happened, and they will most likely remain silent. For the time being, Tucker Carlson can’t say much because he wants to be paid what Fox News owes him.
He also wants to reach an amicable agreement that will allow him to continue working for another network, whether mainstream or independent. As soon as that happens, Tucker Carlson will speak his truth and take on the corporate media in the best way he knows how. Although his views are extremely conservative and divisive, he has a huge personality and his brand attracts millions.
