Jack Nicholson made his triumphant return to the public eye Friday night, attending a LA Lakers playoff game, amid rumors of health issues that keep him confined to his home.
The three-time Oscar winner received a hero’s welcome as he sat courtside with his son, Ray, to watch the Lakers beat the Memphis Grizzles 125 to 85 at Crypto.Com Arena in Los Angeles.
Several celebrities approached Jack to welcome him back to one of his favorite pastimes: watching the Lakers play live from the arena floor.
Before the first-round playoff game, Larry David of “Curb Your Enthusiasm” came over to greet Jack.
LeBron James, a Lakers legend, stopped his warm-up to speak with Jack and give him a hug.
Tee, the father of Memphis Grizzlies point guard Ja Morant, posed for pictures with Jack, who gave the photographer a thumbs up.

A journalist also chimed in, saying to Jack, “Welcome back.”
It was the first time Jack had been spotted at a Lakers game since October 2021. According to tabloid reports, Jack had become a recluse due to mounting health concerns.
Last night, however, there was no sign of Jack’s rumored demise. He appeared to be in good spirits, wearing his trademark black sunglasses and flashing his famous Cheshire grin.
