Lil Durk claims that his career has been sabotaged.
Over the weekend, the Chicago rapper took to Instagram to reveal that he’s been thriving in the music industry despite efforts to isolate him.
“I been doing this sh*t black balled,” he wrote alongside a crying laughing emoji.

He didn’t provide much context in his cryptic post, leaving many fans perplexed and guessing as to who or what was behind the blacklisting campaign.
“How is he blackballed with the entire industry on his albums with mainstream features?” one fan tweeted, while others thought he was just trolling.
How’s he blackballed? By who?

Despite his claim, Durk continues to collaborate with some of music’s biggest names, including J. Cole. They recently finished filming a video for their new collaboration “All My Life.”
“We were just trying to figure out who the right person was to put on it,” Durk said of the Dr. Luke-produced track to XXL. “Because it’s one of those songs where if the right person doesn’t do the second verse… Cole appears to have the energy that I’m looking for. So, if it wasn’t J. Cole, it was [Kanye], but he was hidden somewhere.”
The song will be included on Durk’s upcoming album The Voice 2.0, which will showcase his evolution.
“Growth. “That’s what the 2.0 stands for, just being on another level,” he said of the sequel to The Voice 2020. “Not only music, but things around me, like I told you, growing from the friends around me, management.” I’m sitting next to the mayor. We’re doing a lot of charity work. Neighborhood Heroes is the foundation I received.”
