Fashion and love are in the air. While the Met Gala is well-known for showcasing the best in fashion. This year, actor Idris Elba and his wife, Sabrina Dhowre Elba, took their romance to the red carpet, transforming the glitzy event into the ultimate date night, all while dressed in Gucci ensembles.

At the Met Gala, the couple set the standard for lovebirds by turning heads in their formalwear. Sabrina wore a black strapless balloon gown with intricately placed grommet details on the exaggerated skirt and strappy heels to complete the look. She accessorized the look with subtle makeup, tousled and short hair, and dainty jewelry.
Meanwhile, Idris wore a tailored white tuxedo with black buttons and no lapel. The actor paired his suit with a matching waistcoat and button-down shirt. He dressed up the look with a thin black tie and Gucci patent leather shoes. He wore dark sunglasses and was perfectly groomed as usual.
