Juventus confirmed Paul Pogba’s injury on Monday after he was forced off the field just 23 minutes into Sunday’s game against Cremonese.
“Paul Pogba’s diagnostic tests this morning at J|Medical revealed a low-grade lesion of the rectus femoris of the left thigh.” The footballer has already begun his rehabilitation program, according to a brief statement from the club.
The match was Pogba’s first since March, and Juventus won 2-0.
Pogba will return to Juventus on a free transfer from Manchester United on July 11, 2022.
The 30-year-old has four Serie A titles with Juventus, as well as World Cup and UEFA Nations League titles with France.
