Kennedy Agyapong, an aspiring New Patriotic Party (NPP) flagbearer, along with four other individuals, have been brought to the party’s disciplinary committee due to their alleged misconduct during the recently concluded Super Delegates Conference.
The four individuals referred to the committee are Raphael Patrick Sarfo, Charles Dokyi Yaw-Addo, Musa Sulemana, and Hopeson Yaovi Adorye.
He mentioned that the violent assault on the agent casts a shadow over the integrity of the internal democratic process within the NPP. In a press release dated Sunday, August 27, 2023, Kyerematen conveyed his gratitude to God for guiding his journey thus far.
He also conveyed his thanks to the delegates for their trust in him.
“I would like to take this moment to express my gratitude to the Divine for guiding my path up to this point,” Kyerematen expressed. “Additionally, I wish to extend my sincere appreciation to the Delegates of the Special Electoral College whose votes supported me in this initial selection phase.”
Kyerematen also expressed his deep sadness concerning the violent attack on his polling agent in the North East Region.
He highlighted that this assault leaves an indelible stain on the credibility of the internal democratic process within the NPP.
“However, I must convey my profound sadness regarding the vicious attack on my polling agent in the North East Region. This incident taints the credibility of the internal democratic process within the NPP,” Kyerematen remarked. He mentioned that the A4P Campaign Coordination team is currently reviewing the outcomes of the Special Electoral College Election. In the coming week, he plans to address the public to share the next steps for his campaign.
“As of now, the A4P Campaign Coordination team is in the process of analyzing the outcomes from the Special Electoral College Election. In the following week, I will be delivering a public broadcast to elucidate the path ahead for my campaign,” Kyerematen revealed.
“I want to reassure my numerous supporters, especially those at the grassroots level, that the ultimate victory is still in the hands of the Almighty. Those who exhibit patience and faith in the Divine will find their strength renewed.”
