Tinashe Reveals Release Date for Upcoming Album ‘BB/ANG3L’

Tinashe has excited her fans by unveiling the release date for her highly anticipated album, titled ‘BB/ANG3L’. The LP is already generating buzz with its lead singles, including “Talk To Me Nice” and “Needs.” These tracks have collectively garnered an impressive 2.5 million views on YouTube through their captivating music videos.

‘BB/ANG3L’ marks Tinashe’s next musical chapter after her successful 2021 album ‘333’. This Los Angeles-based artist’s previous work featured 16 songs, boasting collaborations with notable artists like Jeremih, Buddy, Kaash Paige, Quiet Child, and more. The excitement continued as Tinashe later expanded the album with four additional tracks as part of the deluxe edition.

In a recent interview with Dazed, Tinashe gave us a glimpse into the creative process behind the name of her forthcoming album. She explained, “I found inspiration in online screen names and avatars, where we have the power to craft our own online personas. It’s a space where we can choose our own names and take control of our identity. I wanted to create something akin to a screen name or a tag that could encapsulate the essence and energy of this specific project.”

But that’s not all. Tinashe has some exciting news for her fans. She’ll be hitting the road on tour alongside Shygirl. The tour is set to kick off on October 28th at Chicago’s Aragon Ballroom, and they’ll be making stops in cities like Denver, Los Angeles, Atlanta, San Francisco, and more.

Tinashe also shared some insights about her collaboration with Shygirl. She recounted, “We actually performed together at a show. She opened for me at the LadyLand Festival in New York last year, and it was an incredible experience. We caught each other’s performances, said hello, and became friends. Even before that, I was a fan of her music and had shared it on TikTok. She graciously reposted it. So, we’ve been mutual admirers of each other’s music. Then, when we met at the show, we collaborated on her album for the ‘Heaven’ remix, and things just continued from there.”
