Ghanaian actress and singer Fella Makafui recently shared insights into her personal growth journey in recent years.
Reflecting on her past experiences and newfound maturity, Fella expressed her decision to maintain privacy regarding her personal life on social media.
In contrast to her previous self, who was more open about sharing life updates with fans, she now chooses to keep many aspects of her life private.
“I’ve learned from my past mistakes and grown significantly over the years. The Fella of before might have been more open, but now I value keeping certain things to myself. This transition to the new Fella began around 2019 or 2020,” she revealed on The Day Show on May 5.

Responding to queries about her increased public presence despite claiming to live a private life, Fella clarified that while she’s visible as Fella Makafui, she deliberately keeps certain aspects private.
Her decision stems partly from disappointment over a lack of expected support for her wine shop and earlier ventures. This experience led her to keep her current four businesses undisclosed.
During her conversation with Berla Mundi on The Day Show, Fella recounted challenges faced with her Beauty by Fella Makafui business, which she established in 2017. Despite anticipating support from close associates, she felt let down, prompting her to adopt a more guarded approach with her current ventures.
