Five men believed to be involved in the murder of South African rapper AKA have been refused bail.
The suspects appeared in the Durban magistrate’s court on Wednesday, where the magistrate cited concerns about the potential risks of releasing them, as reported by News24.
The tragic incident occurred last year when AKA and his close friend Tebello Motsoane were fatally shot outside a restaurant in Durban, leaving the nation in shock.
Authorities revealed that hitmen were allegedly hired to target AKA, although the motive behind the attack remains undisclosed.
Additionally, two more individuals implicated in the case are currently awaiting extradition from Eswatini.
