Givenchy Appoints Alessandro Valenti as New CEO
Givenchy, a renowned label under the LVMH umbrella, has appointed Alessandro Valenti as its new CEO. This decision comes as the luxury brand continues its search for a new creative director. Valenti succeeds Renaud de Lesquen, who has decided to pursue new career opportunities, according to an official statement from the luxury group.
Valenti, an experienced executive from within the LVMH family, previously led the EMEA region for Louis Vuitton. With 25 years of international experience, including over a decade at Louis Vuitton, Valenti brings a wealth of knowledge in luxury goods, retail expertise, and strong managerial skills to his new role at Givenchy.
“Alessandro’s extensive experience in the luxury industry and his proven retail and managerial capabilities will be crucial in elevating Givenchy to new heights,” said Sidney Toledano. “We also extend our gratitude to Renaud de Lesquen for his significant contributions to the LVMH Group since 2012, at both Christian Dior Couture and Christian Dior Parfums, and most recently at Givenchy.”
As Givenchy embarks on this new chapter with Valenti at the helm, the luxury brand looks forward to further growth and innovation in the competitive fashion industry.
