Bobrisky Criticizes Leaked Video Scandal Involving Egungun of Lagos
Nigerian crossdresser Idris Okuneye, popularly known as Bobrisky, has spoken out about the viral video involving content creator Kuye Adegoke, also known as Egungun of Lagos. The controversial clip, which showed Egungun brushing his teeth during a video call with an unknown woman, has sparked heated debates online.
This incident follows a revelation by Egungun’s wife, Pashotah, who disclosed that her husband was a victim of blackmail. She explained that the video, originally meant for her, was mistakenly uploaded to Snapchat and subsequently recorded by another user.
Pashotah has firmly defended her husband, standing by him amid the controversy.
Reacting to the situation, Bobrisky criticized the woman involved in the call, condemning the act of secretly recording others. He expressed his frustration with the growing trend of exposing private moments and announced his decision to distance himself from acquaintances in Nigeria over trust concerns.
Bobrisky speculated on the motive behind the video’s release, suggesting it might have been intended to destabilize Egungun’s marriage. However, he urged Egungun’s wife to stand strong and love her husband even more during this difficult time.
In his post, Bobrisky wrote:
“Imagine calling someone and they secretly record you. Trust is so rare these days. This is why I’m cutting ties with everyone from Nigeria. As for whoever leaked that video, was your goal to make his wife leave him?”
He added:
“Egungun’s wife, this is the moment to show him more love. Only a fool would abandon their partner over something like this.”
The scandal has drawn mixed reactions online, with some supporting Egungun’s wife’s loyalty and others criticizing the entire incident as avoidable.
