Nigerian actress Bimbo Ademoye has playfully responded to claims by her colleague, Toyin Abraham, about acquiring a new house and car.
During the premiere of the movie Alakada! Bahd and Boujee on Sunday, Toyin publicly announced that Bimbo had recently purchased a house and a brand-new car, specifically a Benz. The crowd reacted with excitement, but actress Ini Edo humorously interrupted, tapping Toyin on the shoulder and asking, “Who sent you?”
In a lighthearted reaction on her Instagram page on Tuesday, Bimbo denied the claim, saying it was untrue. She joked about not being at the financial level to afford such luxuries and blamed Toyin’s movie character, Yetunde Animashaun, for spreading the rumor.
Using pidgin English, Bimbo quipped, “Yetunde Animashaun just dey lie. She even dropped another one last night at the premiere. House and car where? I never even chop belleful.”
Her response had fans laughing and further highlighted the fun dynamic between the actresses.
