Uche Ogbodo isn’t here for the drama—but she’s not backing down either.
The Nollywood actress stirred up a wave of reactions after boldly calling her husband, Bobby Maris, her “heavyweight” and declaring she could “kill for this man” in a recent Instagram post that featured a photo of him.
But the sweet tribute quickly turned into an online battlefield when critics came for her in the comments. One user accused her of hypocrisy, referencing her public support for Judy Austin—who’s been at the center of controversy involving Yul Edochie and his estranged wife.
“You say you’d kill for your man but support Judy for taking someone else’s husband?” the critic fired.
Uche didn’t hold back. “Una don start again o! When I start, don’t run o,” she clapped back.
Another commenter took a more subtle jab, telling her to pray against any “Judy-style” woman showing up in her own home. Uche wasn’t having it. “Please don’t come here with that,” she replied.
One more troll warned her about the risks of blind loyalty, saying, “Men will stain your white oo. Kill for him ke?”
Her response? Short and sharp: “Yes, I said what I said.”
Uche clearly stands by her words—and her man—and isn’t afraid to handle the heat that comes with it.
