Priscilla Ojo-Mkambala, daughter of Nollywood star Iyabo Ojo, has become a mother for the first time. She and her husband, Tanzanian singer Juma Jux, recently welcomed a baby boy.
The proud grandmother, Iyabo Ojo, shared the joyful news on Instagram with a heartwarming photo of herself holding the newborn while Priscilla looked on with admiration. Captioning the moment, she wrote: “Say hello to the latest, sexiest grandma in town. My grandson is the cutest @rakeem_mk!”
Even before her delivery, Priscilla had publicly thanked her mother for the love and care she showered on her throughout her pregnancy. In a video posted on Snapchat, she captured Iyabo cooking for her, revealing how her mum put everything in Lagos on hold to be with her in Canada.
Priscilla gushed about how she never had to worry about meals or comfort, as her mother made sure she was cared for every step of the way. She praised Iyabo for being her biggest support system, already calling her the best grandmother anyone could ask for.
In her words: “She left her business, work, and life in Lagos just to take care of her baby who’s expecting a baby. I don’t even get to think about food because she’s already in the kitchen preparing something. The best grandma award definitely goes to her!”
