Former Big Brother Naija star Erica Nlewedim has opened up about how the recent floods in Lagos left her questioning whether she should stay in the city.
She shared that while driving through Lekki, the heavy downpour flooded her car, leaving her stranded and overwhelmed. To make matters worse, her car wouldn’t start when she finally got to her destination. Even after it was fixed, she spent long hours stuck in traffic, only for the day to end with a flat tyre.
Frustrated by the series of events, Erica admitted she’s now considering relocating to Accra, Ghana, for a fresh start. On her X (formerly Twitter) page, she wrote:
“I almost cried today! Flood was so high water entered my car as I was driving, then when I got to my destination my car refused to turn on again and later when it was fixed I spent hours in traffic and got a flat tire! Maybe moving to Accra is not a bad idea.”
Meanwhile, fellow ex-BBNaija housemate Uriel Oputa revealed that her thoughts on marriage have changed. She admitted that five years ago—or even three—she would have jumped at the idea without hesitation. But now, she’s more cautious, saying her shift in perspective comes from the behavior of the men she has encountered.
