Nollywood star Regina Daniels has revealed that she’s left with no choice but to return to her estranged husband, Ned Nwoko, following the ongoing crisis surrounding her brother’s arrest.
Tension between the actress and her billionaire husband has reportedly intensified after the detention of her brother, Sammy West. Regina and her family have accused Ned of orchestrating the arrest and refusing to grant Sammy’s release unless she returns home and complies with his conditions.
In an emotional message shared on Instagram Friday morning, Regina expressed deep frustration, saying all her efforts to free her brother had failed.
“I give up! What was my brother’s offense? Standing up for his sister because her husband would always hit her? I thought the police stood for justice, but clearly, money speaks louder. I’m helpless now. If returning home and doing whatever he says is the only way to free my brother, then so be it,” she wrote.
The actress went on to express her pain over what she described as a broken system, lamenting that her brother was being punished for no lawful reason.
“There’s no case against Sammy. This only shows that power and influence can silence anyone. We’ve lost — or rather, I have,” she added.
