Nollywood star Annie Idibia has spoken up after receiving heat online for liking a post that accused Regina Daniels of causing trouble in her marriage with Senator Ned Nwoko.
The drama unfolded after Ned’s Moroccan wife, Laila Charani, shared a lengthy message describing her strained past with Regina. In her post, Laila claimed she nearly walked away from her marriage six years ago because Regina allegedly introduced her to harmful habits. She dismissed Regina’s claim of giving her money and even challenged her to reveal their bank statements for the public to judge.
Laila went on to say that Regina’s current issues with their husband stem from his insistence that she let go of certain addictions—something he has always refused to tolerate in any wife.
Amid the heated exchanges, many online users noticed that Annie Idibia had liked Laila’s post. This sparked outrage among Regina’s supporters, who felt Annie should have stood firmly behind someone who had publicly supported her in the past.
Reacting to the backlash, Annie made it clear that the “like” was an accident. She explained that she tapped it while scrolling through the allegations made against Regina. Annie stressed that her loyalty to Regina has never changed and that she remains solidly by her side.
