United Nigeria Airlines has announced that social media personalities VeryDarkMan (Martins Otse) and Mr Jollof (Freedom Atsepoyi) were removed from a flight and handed over to airport authorities after a clash on Monday.
The incident took place during the boarding of Flight UN0523 at the Asaba International Airport in Delta State. Both men, who have a long-running history of online feuds, got into a heated confrontation that escalated onboard the aircraft scheduled to depart for Lagos.
A video circulating online captured the moment the argument turned physical. Shortly after, VeryDarkMan shared a post claiming he stood his ground during the fight.
According to the airline’s spokesperson, Chibuike Uloka, the cabin crew acted swiftly to calm the situation and prevent further disruption. He explained that the two were immediately taken off the aircraft to protect the safety and comfort of other passengers.
Uloka noted that the airline follows strict safety standards and does not tolerate any behavior that could threaten passengers or crew. Once the situation was contained and the required procedures were completed, the flight continued its journey, while the two men remained with airport security for further review.
