Veteran music star Innocent Idibia, widely known as 2Baba, and Edo lawmaker Natasha Osawaru have welcomed a baby boy together.
Rumours of the birth began early Friday after Osawaru was spotted at a hospital, sparking whispers that she had gone into labour. A few hours later, she put the speculation to rest with a brief post on her official Facebook page, announcing that she and 2Baba had been blessed with a son.
Her update immediately drew warm reactions, as fans, friends, and supporters celebrated the couple’s new addition.
The baby’s arrival marks a new milestone in their relationship, which has been in the public eye since the pair confirmed their union earlier this year—shortly after 2Baba’s separation from Annie Idibia in January.
Their journey together has been closely watched, from the Valentine’s Eve proposal to family visits and traditional rites that followed. In July, they held a private traditional wedding in Abuja, attended only by close relatives. Though intimate, the ceremony sparked ongoing interest in their new life as a couple.
2Baba also shares children with his former partner, Annie Idibia.
