Arshad Sharif, a well-known journalist from Pakistan, was shot dead by Kenyan police on Sunday at a roadblock and will be laid to rest on Thursday in Islamabad.
According to Kenyan authorities, Mr. Shariff was killed due to a case of mistaken identity.
In order to assist in the investigations into the incident, which has sparked indignation and an outpouring of emotion in Pakistan, the Pakistani government has sent three of its senior military and intelligence officers to Kenya.
According to reports, Mr. Shariff’s phone and laptop are also missing in addition to the unfortunate car’s driver.
