Bright Okpocha, popularly known as Basketmouth, a Nigerian comedian, has divorced his wife, Elsie Uzoma Okpocha.
In a statement posted on his Instagram page on Thursday, the 44-year-old comedian announced his split from Elsie. “As much as it pains me to bring my personnel life into the public eye, this is an unavoidable situation,” he said. “After much thought, my wife and I have decided to divorce.

“As we move forward separately, we will continue to work together to give our beautiful children all the care, love guidance, and support they need.
“We humbly ask that you respect our privacy as we navigate through these times.
“I appreciate it.”
Basketmouth married his wife in 2010, and they have three children: Janelle Okpocha, Jason Okpocha, and Maya Okpocha.
