50 Cent has once again demonstrated his devotion to Eminem.
After former NBA player Jamal Crawford claimed that JAY-Z has had a greater impact on hip-hop than the Detroit rapper, the hip-hop mogul defended his mentor.
Crawford mentioned Hov and Em on Shaquille O’Neal’s “The Big Podcast” while discussing his favorite basketball players.
“JAY-effect Z’s on hip-hop is bigger than any album sales that Eminem will have. “That’s how it goes,” Crawford explained to Shaq, who replied, “That’s a good point.”

Hip-hop fans weighed in on the comment, sparking a debate on social media. 50 Cent slammed Crawford’s claim that Shawn Carter is more influential than Marshall Mathers after the clip was reposted on the Hip-Hop Wolf Instagram page.
He wrote, “ha bullshit,” alongside a sneezing emoji.
The reaction of 50 should come as no surprise. Since signing Em to his Shady Records label two decades ago, he has remained a close friend.
“I don’t think they give him the cultural credit that he deserves,” 50 said on “Ebro in the Morning” last year.
50 plans to carry on Eminem’s legacy. He recently revealed that he is working on an 8 Mile television series, which he compares to “The Fresh Prince of Bel- Air’s” dramatic reboot.
“I’m bringing 8 Mile to television,” he said to Big Boy. “It’s going to be big. I’m at work. I don’t have any duds. “I’m a battin’ hunnid.”
