Scott Disick sparked controversy on January 25 when he shared an Instagram Story with his 28 million followers. Rather than promoting one of his businesses or revealing his most recent vacation destination, the reality star shared a mysterious quote.
“Sometimes, those who don’t socialize much aren’t actually anti-social,” read the message. “They simply have no tolerance for drama, stupidity, or phony people.”
The quote was attributed to Shia LaBeouf, along with a photo of the actor, but it’s unclear whether he ever said it.
“Ain’t that the truth?” Scott added on top.
While it’s unclear to whom Scott is referring, some fans have noticed the former Keeping Up With the Kardashians star has kept a low profile in 2023.
But, before the new year, Scott reunited with ex Kourtney Kardashian to celebrate Mason Disick’s 13th birthday with a bar mitzvah party on December 17. The former couple, who also co-parent Penelope Disick, 10, and Reign Disick, 8, arrived separately for the family-friendly event.

“We’re just raising our kids the same way we would have raised them whether we’re together or not,” Scott previously stated in a Poosh vlog about co-parenting in 2019. “Our children should not suffer because we are not together.”
At the same time, keeping up with Scott has become more difficult.
While Scott was a regular on Keeping Up With the Kardashians, he doesn’t appear as frequently on the Kardashians’ Hulu show.
Kris Jenner made it clear in a rare social media comment that Scott is still an important member of the Kardashian-Jenner family.
“Scott will NEVER be excommunicated from our family,” she said in response to a report published in August. “He’s the father of my grandchildren and an important member of our family…we adore him.”
