At the 65th annual Grammy Awards, Beyoncé became the most decorated artist in history, and hip-hop celebrated 50 years. Trevor Noah hosted the ceremony for the third time in a row, with Harry Styles taking home the coveted award for album of the year.

Beyoncé, who had already won the most Grammys of any female artist in history, surpassed the late Hungarian-British conductor Georg Solti when she won her fourth award of the night, giving her a total of 32 Grammys, more than anyone in the award’s history.

This year, she also tied the record for most nominations ever with nine, bringing her career total to 88, which she now shares with her husband, Jay-Z. Beyoncé was nominated for record of the year, song of the year, and album of the year, the latter of which she has never won.

Big Boi, De La Soul, Missy Elliott, Ice-T, Lil Wayne, The Lox, Method Man, Public Enemy, Queen Latifah, and many more performed on Sunday’s show, which also commemorated hip-50th hop’s anniversary.

Other performers during the evening included Harry Styles, Bad Bunny, Mary J. Blige, and Lizzo.

The Grammys pre-telecast ceremony, which announced the majority of the night’s awards, was held at L.A.’s Nokia Theatre. Viola Davis received the coveted EGOT award for best audiobook narration during that ceremony (Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, and Tony). She is only the 18th person in history to have won all four major awards in the entertainment industry.
