The Machine Gun Kelly had a scary moment while performing at a Super Bowl party.
The Grammy-nominated singer claimed he was electrocuted while performing at the Coors Light Bird’s Nest Festival in Scottsdale, Arizona, on Friday. He posted a video of himself performing with his blond hair sticking all the way up on Instagram.
“YOOO I GOT ELECTROCUTED (sic) AND MY HAIR STOOD UP,” he captioned a video of himself onstage.

Kelly can be seen performing in video footage obtained by TMZ when his hair goes from flat to suddenly standing straight up. It’s unclear whether he was actually electrocuted or if it was just static electricity, but he continued with his two-hour performance and received no medical attention.
MGK had just returned from the Grammys, where he was nominated for Best Rock Album but lost to Ozzy Osbourne. He, on the other hand, accepted his loss with dignity.
“Ultimately, I’m really happy to be in the company of such great musicians,” he said on the red carpet to E! News. “I didn’t take the category home, and I almost feel like I asked for that lesson. I felt like I lacked self-love, and I was valuing myself so much in my professional achievements that I needed this. I need to appreciate what I already have, and once that happens, things like awards and everything else will follow.”
MGK has returned to the studio to work on his next album, which could be a return to his rap roots.
“I’m going to make a rap album for myself,” he said last year on Audacy Check-In. “There’s nothing else to it, no point to prove, no chip on my shoulder.”
