Meghan Markle was allegedly caught in a fab.
Despite previous protests, a blog post allegedly from her now-defunct lifestyle website, “The Tig,” reveals she knew who the royal family was – and wasn’t impressed with the “Princess Kate” craze.
During an interview following her engagement to Prince Harry in 2017, Markle teased that she “didn’t know much” about her blue-blood fiancé or his family before meeting him.
However, in the alleged 2014 entry, written while the former actress, 41, was on “Suits,” she allegedly revealed her thoughts on princesses and royal weddings.
According to DailyMail, the now Duchess of Sussex wrote that she was tired of hearing the “endless conversation” surrounding “Princess Kate’s” royal nuptials to Prince William.
According to the alleged blog, which was written two years before she met her now-husband, Prince Harry, she was not like most little girls who “dream of being princesses,” but instead was obsessed with “She-Ra, Princess of Power.”
“For those of you who are unfamiliar with the ’80s cartoon reference, She-Ra is He-twin Man’s sister and a sword-wielding royal rebel known for her strength,” she explained. “This isn’t Cinderella we’re talking about.”
Markle then observed that many adult women seem to cling to their childhood fantasy of becoming a princess.
“Grown women seem to keep this childhood fantasy alive,” she wrote. “Look at the pomp and circumstance surrounding the royal wedding and the never-ending discussion about Princess Kate.”
Unfortunately, the snide remark about “Princess Kate” appears to fit into the sisters-in-frosty law’s relationship, which never blossomed.
In his best-selling autobiography, “Spare,” Prince Harry claimed that Middleton made Markle cry by demanding that Princess Charlotte’s bridesmaid gown be remade just days before the Sussexes’ 2018 wedding.
He also claimed that at their first “Fab Four” event in February 2018, Middleton “grimaced” when Markle asked to borrow some lip gloss.
Markle closed “The Tig” before marrying Prince Harry. Her favorite Italian wine inspired the name of her blog, which covered fashion, food, beauty, and travel.
