Adekunle Gold has shut down circulating claims that he and his wife, Simi, recently welcomed twins.
Speaking on the Great Day 20 podcast, the Afrobeats star addressed the rumour directly, making it clear that the story spreading online is inaccurate.
He explained that the couple did not have twins as reported, but instead welcomed a baby boy, putting the speculation to rest in a simple statement.
Beyond clearing up the rumour, Adekunle Gold also shared a light moment about family life, revealing that their daughter, Adejare, is already showing early signs of musical interest. According to him, she naturally gravitates towards sound and creativity, something he finds both exciting and unsurprising given the family’s background in music.
With both parents deeply rooted in the industry, he noted that it wouldn’t be shocking if she eventually followed a similar path, although for now it remains just an early sign of curiosity.
In a separate conversation, the singer also opened up about his approach to life, explaining that he prefers peace over conflict. He described himself as someone who deliberately avoids unnecessary drama, choosing calm over confrontation whenever possible.
He added that knowing his personality helps him step away from tense situations before they escalate, a habit he believes protects his peace of mind. At the same time, he made it clear that avoiding conflict is a personal choice—not a sign of weakness.
For Adekunle Gold, the focus remains simple: family, music, and a quiet life away from unnecessary noise.
