The Ooni of Ife had already met Davido’s lover Chioma. Recall that Davido and Chioma visited the Queen as a courtesy in 2018. They split up in 2021, yet their romance withstood the test of time.
The singer had proudly displayed his wife to the king once more after their reconciliation. The couple enjoyed themselves in Benin City as they attended the nuptials of Taiwo Afolabi’s daughter and Isreal DMW, Davido’s logistics manager.
Davido met the Ooni and his wives, Olori Mariam and Queen Tobi Phillips, at the daughter of Taiwo Afolabi’s wedding event. Olori Mariam called for Chioma when she was spotted, and Davido reintroduced his wife to the group. The singer introduced Chioma to the Ooni and his wives as his bride.
