I love kids. They say the most bizarre things. Mila Bush Hager, Jenna Bush Hager’s 9-year-old daughter, gave her a run for her money on Tuesday’s (Dec. 20) broadcast of Today with Hoda & Jenna by spilling some of her mother’s most intimate secrets on live air.
Hoda Kotb summoned Mila to the stage, where the sweet young girl talked about the kitten she intended to adopt, and the tumultuous exchange got off to a sweet start. However, things changed when Kotb questioned whether she was “exactly” like her mother and she answered, “No.” Now, why? Because I’m better, she joked.
According to Kotb, Hager’s best moments are “when she’s laughing so hard that she can’t catch her breath.” Mila didn’t think twice to share her personal experience when the host inquired if she had ever gone through it.
“Yeah. She once soiled her pants while giggling in our living room, she admitted, before turning to her mother and exclaiming, “And you changed your pajamas!”
I love her so much, but it’s time for her to leave because if she’s already dropped one truth bomb, who knows what’s coming here,” an embarrassed Hager remarked shortly after attempting to sweep her daughter off the platform.
However, Kotb was still searching for the ideal fact, or truth bomb, as some may say. Mila hesitated for a time before responding, “She never wears underwear,” to her question about whether there was anything else she should let us know about her other co-host.
Mila continued as giggles spread throughout the studio. “She’s not wearing it right now,” she continued. I saw her change,” she said as her mother hurriedly rushed her off the stage while covering her face with her hands.
Be thankful they didn’t do it on a daytime talk show the next time your kid tells someone at the grocery store about your strange behaviors. (In addition, JBH had better hope that ABC’s ex-lothario T.J. Holmes wasn’t watching because that kind of disclosure would undoubtedly make him hot under the collar. You never know! Holmes wasn’t on the air with Amy Robach today.
