Recently evicted Big Brother Naija housemate, Bright Morgan, has revealed that his American girlfriend played a surprising role in his eviction drama.
In a post-eviction interview on Tuesday, Bright explained that his ex contacted the show’s organisers, claiming he had a health condition that made him unfit to continue. According to him, the organisers reached out to his family for confirmation, but his brother quickly dismissed the claims.
“She called the organisers saying I had health issues so they should take me out. They had to verify with my family, since I left their numbers with them. My brother confirmed there was nothing like that. If I had any problem, I’d have chosen a voluntary exit myself. She wasn’t even in Nigeria, but she placed calls,” he said.
Bright also disclosed that he had never met his American girlfriend in person. Their relationship only began a few months ago and was entirely online.
Meanwhile, fellow BBNaija star Lucy Edet surprised fans with joyful news — she’s expecting her first child. The former Season 5 housemate shared the update in an Instagram post where she showed off her baby bump while dancing and cradling her tummy.
The announcement caught many off guard, as Lucy had managed to keep her pregnancy private until now. Her comment section was flooded with excitement and heartfelt congratulations from fans and colleagues.
Lucy, 35, who once made headlines for undergoing body enhancement surgery, described her pregnancy journey as both exciting and demanding.
Sharing her experience, she wrote:
“I’ve learned that Nigerians actually know how to mind their business — or maybe it’s just my case! Anyway, pull a chair, relax, and get WiFi ready because there’s going to be plenty of content. One of the most interesting journeys I’ve ever had! It’s been fun and a rollercoaster.”
With Lucy joining the growing list of celebrities announcing pregnancies, it seems to be a season of baby news in the entertainment world.
