After releasing his memoir ‘Spare,’ Prince Harry appears to have become a style icon for many men.
While Harry has not had a beard transplant, his close-up pose on the book’s cover with his short beard appears to have had an effect on the male population.
It is no secret that many men travel to Turkey in search of the best or cheapest hair transplants. The demand for bear transplants is increasing rapidly, according to EsteNove in Istanbul, and men are willing to pay 2,500 pounds for it.
Batuhan Kizilcan, the co-founder of EsteNove, told MailOnline: “Beard transplants have grown in popularity in recent years as more people become aware of the procedure.
“However, this has recently exploded. We have dubbed the ‘Prince Harry effect’ because the number of transplants we are performing has increased by 100%.
“The name on everyone’s lips right now is Prince Harry. People are praising the image on the cover of his new book in particular. Our clients believe his beard gives him a rugged and masculine appearance, and they want to achieve similar results.”
He also began to explain that issues with facial hair have been a growing concern among men, gradually catching up to concerns about head baldness.
“It is very common for people to have gaps in their facial hair that make it look patchy or straggly,” he explained.
“Beard hair can grow at a very slow or inconsistent rate. This is more often than not the result of a genetic predisposition. With patches of hair here and there, the face can appear very empty.”
