On August 23, 2024, the United Kingdom expanded its list of organizations authorized to sponsor workers under the Worker and Temporary Worker immigration routes. The updated list now includes 119,195 approved companies.
Nigerians interested in working in the UK should visit the websites of these approved companies to explore available job openings. The approved organizations span various sectors, including technology, commerce, education, media, advertising, and engineering.
The UK government explains that a Skilled Worker visa allows individuals to live and work in the UK if they have an offer from an approved employer. This visa category covers roles such as charity workers, skilled professionals, creative workers, global business mobility specialists, and international sportspersons.
