Juma Jux Celebrates Wife Priscilla’s First Birthday as a Married Woman
Tanzanian singer Juma Jux is marking a special milestone as he celebrates his wife, Priscilla, on her 24th birthday—her first as a married woman.
Taking to social media on March 13, 2025, Juma shared a heartfelt tribute alongside a video capturing moments from their romantic getaway in Saudi Arabia. Expressing his deep love and appreciation, he wrote:
“Ever since you came into my life, everything started making sense. You brought color to my world in ways words can’t describe. Spending this birthday as your husband is a blessing I wouldn’t trade for anything. I pray for more years of laughter, good health, love, and happiness. I LOVE YOU ❤️ my beautiful wife @its.priscy HAPPY BIRTHDAY #JP2025”
From Engagement to Marriage
The couple’s journey to forever began in September 2024, when news of their engagement surfaced online. At first, social media users were unsure if the announcement was real, but Priscilla’s mother, Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo, put all doubts to rest. She posted a video of their pre-wedding shoot on Instagram, sharing her excitement about becoming a mother-in-law with the caption:
“#JP love you both 🥰🥰 @its.priscy & @juma_jux #iyaiyawoloading.”
While Priscilla had initially shared pictures from their traditional photoshoot without an official engagement announcement, speculation quickly grew. Some assumed it was just a creative shoot, while others saw it as a wedding teaser.
A Love Story Sealed in Tradition
In February 2025, Priscilla and Juma Jux officially tied the knot in a beautiful Nikkah ceremony held in Tanzania. During the event, Priscilla embraced her new cultural identity, receiving the name Hadiza Mkambala as a symbol of her union with her husband’s Muslim heritage.
Not stopping there, Juma surprised his wife with a second proposal—this time in front of friends and family who couldn’t witness the first. To mark the moment, he presented her with an even bigger ring, symbolizing the depth of his love. The couple later had their legal wedding, sharing stunning photos from the ceremony with their fans.
A Grand Wedding Celebration Awaits
Iyabo Ojo has since confirmed that the couple’s white and traditional weddings will take place in April in Lagos, with a grand celebration set for May in Tanzania. With love in the air and anticipation building, all eyes are on the upcoming festivities!
