In his conversation with host Adesope, Terry G reflected on how the music scene operated during his earlier days. “Back then, collaborations were all about love and mutual respect,” he said in pidgin. “There was no need for formal clearances.”
Terry G acknowledged that the music industry has since become more professional, necessitating proper procedures and clearances. He revealed that Wizkid’s lawyers contacted his management, requesting the song’s removal. Respecting the request, he instructed his team to take it down.
