During her concert in Boise, Idaho, country music artist Kelsea Ballerini experienced a moment of shock when she was unexpectedly hit in the face by a bracelet thrown from the audience. This incident adds to a concerning trend of female singers facing attacks or having objects hurled at them during their performances.
A video shared on social media captured the moment when Ballerini was struck by the bracelet while she was on stage. Clearly taken aback, she visibly reacts to the impact and momentarily halts her performance before leaving the stage, as seen in the footage.

After the incident, the country star took to Instagram to address what had happened, reassuring her fans that she was more frightened than physically hurt. She explained that she walked off stage to “calm down” and emphasized the importance of feeling safe during shows.
In her Instagram Story, she wrote, “Hi. I’m fine. Someone threw a bracelet, it hit me in the eye, and it more so just scared me than hurt me. We all have triggers and layers of fears way deeper than what is shown, and that’s why I walked offstage to calm down and make sure myself, the band and crew, and the crowd all felt safe to continue. That’s all I ever want, is for shows to feel like a safe place for us all.”

Ballerini also shared an Instagram post with photos from the show, where she reiterated her well-being and urged everyone to do a better job of keeping each other safe at shows. She concluded the post with the message, “ps- i’m fine, let’s just do a better job of keeping each other safe at shows. ily.)”
The incident involving Ballerini is not an isolated one. In a separate incident, pop star Ava Max was slapped by a concertgoer who rushed the stage during her performance. Ava Max sustained an eye injury, and the person responsible for the attack has been banned from future performances.
Similarly, singer Bebe Rexha was hit in the face with a phone thrown by an audience member at a concert in New York City. The offender, Nicolas Malvagna, was taken into custody and later charged with assault for his actions. These incidents highlight the importance of ensuring the safety and well-being of artists and concertgoers alike.
