Fans of music, rejoice! On Tuesday, the 2023 GRAMMY nominees were revealed, and the list included some of the year’s best musicians and entertainers.
The nominees were revealed during a Livestream from the GRAMMY Museum in Los Angeles, which also included special guests like Cyndi Lauper, Smokey Robinson, Machine Gun Kelly, and more. Harvey Mason Jr., the CEO of the Recording Academy, was also there.
Following The Weeknd’s harsh accusations in front of a large audience last May, the GRAMMY Awards selection method was changed. The event no longer selects its nominees through the use of anonymous review panels, but this year, well-known musicians like Drake and Silk Sonic declined to submit their most recent works for consideration.
