2Baba’s Family Raises Concern Over His Whereabouts
The Idibia family is deeply worried about the sudden disappearance of music legend Innocent “2Baba” Idibia and has reached out to security authorities for help.
According to a petition sent to the Department of State Services (DSS), the family is urging authorities to step in after the singer left home on February 10, dressed in loungewear, without his usual security detail. Initially, they believed he had gone for a short walk, but he never returned.
Adding to their concern, some of his close friends reported receiving messages from 2Baba requesting financial assistance—a situation his family finds unusual, given that he is financially stable.
They also noted that the singer, who is known for his dedication to music, has been absent from the studio for several days, which is completely out of character.
With growing fears about his safety, the Idibia family has called on the police to assist in locating him.
Meanwhile, his mother, Mrs. Rose Idibia, has made an emotional plea to Nigerians, specifically addressing Edo State lawmaker Natasha Osawaru, asking her to leave 2Baba alone.
In a viral video, she tearfully appealed to fellow mothers to help intervene, linking her son’s recent behavior to the emotional distress caused by his ongoing divorce from Annie Idibia.
As concerns mount, fans and loved ones eagerly await any updates on 2Baba’s whereabouts.
