Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have reportedly conveyed messages of support to Kate Middleton and King Charles III during their recent health challenges.
According to a close source to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, both Middleton and the King have received comforting words from Harry and Meghan concerning their health.
The insider also mentioned that the couple reached out to both parties through various channels to express their concern and send their best wishes.
This news follows Middleton’s recent abdominal surgery, described by Kensington Palace as a planned procedure. The Palace shared via Instagram earlier this week that the surgery went well, and Middleton is expected to remain in the hospital for ten to fourteen days before returning home to continue her recovery.
Meanwhile, King Charles III, aged 75, is scheduled for a procedure next week to address an enlarged prostate.
Sources revealed that Harry learned about his father’s health condition initially from the media. Buckingham Palace insiders attempted to inform all senior members of the royal family, including Harry, who stepped down from his role in 2020 and moved to Montecito, California, with Meghan.
However, the messages reportedly reached Harry after the public announcement. A statement from the palace stated that the monarch’s condition is benign, and he will undergo a corrective procedure next week.
As for Middleton, she is expected to take time to recover from her procedure and is unlikely to resume public duties until after Easter. The Palace noted that she aims to maintain normalcy for her children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, and apologizes for postponing her upcoming engagements.
The recent health challenges, coupled with Harry and Meghan’s reported gesture of support, come amid previous controversies. Earlier, Piers Morgan claimed that royal expert Omid Scobie named Charles and Middleton as the “racist royals” concerned about Prince Archie’s skin color. Harry and Meghan, who also have a two-year-old daughter named Princess Lilibet, continue to navigate their lives outside the royal spotlight.
