Nollywood star Eve Esin has shared her beautiful story of finding love and getting married at 43, inspiring many single women who may feel like time is passing them by.
In an emotional post on Instagram, Eve revealed that she legally tied the knot at 43 and celebrated her traditional wedding just a day after turning 44. Her journey, she explained, was far from easy — filled with years of pressure, mockery, and waiting before her joy finally arrived.
“My story is to give someone hope,” she wrote. “I’m not a motivational speaker, just someone God showed mercy. I got legally married at 43, though I kept it private. Then I turned 44 on October 17th and had my traditional wedding the next day. Many might think it’s impossible, but God makes all things beautiful in His time.”
Eve reflected on how she endured hurtful words and doubts from others, yet held firmly to her faith. “At 43? Not married? Old cargo? Who says anything and it comes to pass when God hasn’t spoken?” she added. “I’ve been through it all, but I thank God for keeping my faith alive.”
Encouraging others to trust in divine timing, she reminded her followers that delay does not mean denial. “To anyone who feels time is slipping away, don’t give up,” she said. “May God’s mercy meet you where you are and connect you with the one meant for you. Amen.”
