Fashion entrepreneur Tania Omotayo has set the record straight after being accused of using Ozempic to lose weight.
According to reports, a Snapchat user mistakenly sent her a gossip message that was meant for someone else. The message claimed Tania was using the diabetes drug to shed pounds — but the mix-up quickly turned into an unexpected moment of truth.
Responding directly, Tania clarified that her weight loss had nothing to do with Ozempic. She explained that she’s always been transparent about her fitness journey and even shared a full video on TikTok showing how she achieved her transformation naturally.
The mother of two also urged people to stop spreading false stories. In her words:
“Oops. You mistakenly sent the chat to me, Hun. And no, I’m not on Ozempic. I’ve never hidden how I lost weight — there’s a whole video on my TikTok. Let’s not spread the nonsense, please. God bless.”
Ozempic, originally prescribed to help manage type 2 diabetes, has recently gained attention for its weight-loss side effects — a trend that’s become especially popular among celebrities. But as Tania made clear, her results came from consistency, not shortcuts.
