Summer Walker will soon give birth to her child, but first she wants to listen to a brand-new song.
The R&B singer surprises everyone by making her rap debut on the song “Sense Dat God Gave You,” which also has a video.
In the video, Summer partners up with rapper Sexyy Red to showcase her lyrical prowess at a petrol station while twerking on top of a car and tossing racks.
If I don’t get my cheese, ni**a / 6ix9ine, you can call me a rat, she raps. “Bald head, scalawag, ain’t got no hair on my cat.”
“You know we got a plan / I drop the Perc in his drink and I don’t give a damn,” the song goes. “We finna tear down the mall.”
I’mNOT a rapper lmao, I simply wanted to do hood rat stuff with my pal, was how Summer described the motivation behind the video.
The “No Love” singer recently admitted that she split up with her baby’s father, LVRD Pharoh aka Larry, while she was expecting her second child.
Although Larry is a wonderful father, there are just some things I won’t put up with. Nevertheless, we are ecstatic to have all of our children and are simply enjoying life, she wrote on her Instagram Stories.
Summer addressed the omission from the Grammy nominations earlier this month.
She stated, “The math is actually not mathing.”
“I was going to post some stats, but it’s okay; at least the people on the streets like me.
Thanks for the support I do get; you guys always turn up in droves to my shows.
