Blueface Faces Unexpected Altercation During Workout
During a workout session on Wednesday (Aug. 23), rapper Blueface found himself in an unforeseen situation that escalated into a violent altercation. The incident occurred while he was training at Kaminsky Boxing Gym in San Fernando Valley. The 26-year-old artist was approached by an individual, which led to a confrontation involving a knife, as claimed by Blueface.
Surveillance footage captured the incident, and the rapper later shared it on his social media platforms. The video showed an unidentified person entering the gym with a dog. Initially, Blueface tried to dismiss the individual’s approach by heading towards his trainer, David Kaminsky. However, the situation quickly escalated.
Despite Kaminsky’s attempts to intervene, Blueface engaged in a heated verbal exchange with the man. The confrontation eventually turned physical, with the rapper landing several punches before the video concluded.

According to law enforcement sources cited by TMZ, Brandon Henry Snell turned himself in and was arrested and booked for felony assault with a deadly weapon. His Rottweiler, which was present during the altercation, remained at the police station until a family member retrieved it.
Blueface provided an update on the situation through a social media post, revealing that he wouldn’t be able to participate in a scheduled fight on Oct. 14 due to an injury sustained during the incident. He assured his followers that he didn’t shy away from the challenge and explained that the confrontation involved a dog and a knife.
The rapper also shared additional updates on his Instagram Story, reassuring his fans that he was alright despite sustaining an injury. He mentioned that the injury was a leg shot and requested not to be overwhelmed with messages.
The altercation resulted in the cancellation of Blueface’s upcoming boxing match with Salt Papi in October. Despite this setback, his supporters expressed relief that he wasn’t seriously harmed.
Blueface’s journey in amateur boxing has seen both triumphs and obstacles. Following his unanimous decision victory over TikToker Kane Trujillo last year, he faced challenges in 2022, including cancellations and license issues. Notably, his recent win against British influencer Ed Matthews and a sparring session with Floyd Mayweather Jr. garnered attention as anticipation builds for his upcoming matches.
