According to official results, Atiku Abubakar defeated rivals in the northeastern state of Bauchi, garnering 426,607 votes.
Bola Tinubu, the ruling party’s candidate, received 316,694 votes.
Peter Obi of the Labour Party finished fourth with 27,373, trailing the NNPP’s Rabiu Kwankwaso, who received 72,103 votes.
