Official results show that Nigeria’s main opposition candidate, Atiku Abubakar, won the presidential election in southwestern Osun state with 354,366 votes.
Bola Tinubu of the ruling party received 343,366 votes.
Mr. Abubakar’s victory is unsurprising given that the state is run by a governor from his PDP party.
