Kennedy Agyapong, the presidential hopeful of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has firmly denied any involvement in the murder of investigative journalist Ahmed Suale. In a recent interview on Kessben TV dated Monday, September 18, Ken addressed the accusations and made a bold statement regarding Vice President Mahamadu Bawumia’s role as the head of the police council.
Ken asserted that Vice President Bawumia, given his position as the head of the police council, should possess knowledge about the individuals responsible for Ahmed Suale’s tragic murder. He emphasized that the National Security of Ghana should be deemed ineffective if they fail to apprehend the culprits behind the journalist’s killing. This statement reflects Ken’s stance on the matter and his expectations for justice to prevail.
