Things only seem to be getting tenser between the pair
Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez’s patience appears to be wearing thin as they prepare to walk away from yet another house as the couple struggles to find a suitable property.
The married couple has been trying for some time to buy a new house that will be their permanent residence together, but it is proving to be a difficult task.
The pair have viewed a mansion in California’s Pacific Palisades, and Affleck is currently under contract to buy it.
According to the New York Post, they have recently backed out of several similar deals, costing them hundreds of thousands of dollars in inspection fees.
This latest property is said to be worth $64 million, and an insider told the New York Post that Affleck is eager to close the deal.
“Ben is fighting for it; he really wants this house,” according to the source.
The mansion, which has eight bedrooms and fourteen bathrooms and is owned by a prominent Los Angeles family, is currently in escrow for the couple.
Jennifer Lopez may pull the plug
According to the report, Jennifer Lopez may walk away from yet another deal because she is not sold on the property. This would result in even more fees being squandered.
They backed out of a 34.5 million dollar home purchase last month, and they did the same with a 50 million dollar Bel-Air home last year.
This current property that Affleck wishes to purchase includes a 3,000-square-foot two-bedroom guest house and an 800-square-foot gym, which J-Lo would put to good use.
They’ll have to make a decision on this later property soon, as they look for the ideal home to settle down in after their marriage last year.
